Information
Agriculture offers a range of employment options on farms. From short term seasonal, part-time, full-time, contract labour, lower order share milking, 50/50 share milking and jobs offered by the service sector to farmers such as fencing, contracting and artificial breeding.
We are accredited in Sheep and Cattle unit standards and teach all aspects of Farm Safety using ATV's, Motor bikes, Tractors, Chainsaws, Stock handling and Fencing.
This course of study can be incorporated into the seasonal cycle of production by using on farm work experience and off farm periods for study and research. There are no formal academic requirements for these programmes however a general interest in Agriculture is essential.
